Grand prix

videoinstallation 2004 On a horizontal platform we see a video projection in which two persons are facing each other, playing with small balls in the sand, as kids used to on Italian beaches, (the video was done inviting artists and curators to join the game). Next to the platform an automat is placed from wich the balls can be pulled. In place of the otherwise usual pictures of sportsmen inside the balls, such as racing cyclists or autopilots of the formula 1, the "champions" of the world of art, such as Cattelan, Beecroft etc. are represented. The room is filled with the rumbling of the engines of racedriving cars.
